Peter Bluckert

Peter stepped down as Managing Director of PB Coaching in April 2010 but remains involved with the business as an external consultant. Peter has an established international reputation, having worked at executive level within both public and private organisations across a number of countries.

Highly trained and experienced in organisational psychology, leadership development and change management, he not only works with executives and their top teams but also trains and develops external and internal consultants and managers. Peter’s background and experience in both organisational development and coaching spans over twenty-five years.

Peter brings a rare level of skill and expertise of facilitating individual, team and organisational change using the coaching method. He has consulted to a wide range of organisations on the creation of coaching cultures and has helped to implement several coaching initiatives.

Peter has published numerous articles on coaching and in 2006 the Open University Press published his book ‘The Psychological Dimensions of Executive Coaching’. He will shortly publish a chapter on the Gestalt approach to coaching in the forthcoming Sage International Handbook on Coaching’.

Peter is a founding member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and was the first chair of its Standards and Ethics Committee. He is also a founding accredited executive coach with the Association of Professional Executive Coaches and Supervisors. (APECS) This all reflects Peter’s desire to see the highest standards maintained in the emerging profession.
