Enda Allen
Enda Allen is an executive coach and a member of the PB Coaching tutor team on programmes run both in Ireland and the UK. As an Executive Coach, Enda works to senior executive and general manager level in corporate and financial institutions and to partner level in professional services providers.
In his coaching work Enda focuses on developing self awareness as a critical building block in developing the self management and relationship management aspects of Professional and Leadership Development. His own experience in senior management allows him to develop comfortable relationships with his clients at a senior level but without loosing the capacity to challenge.
Enda is a committed advocate of psychological mindedness as an approach to executive coaching and uses this to coach his clients to secure lasting change and improved performance.
Enda's corporate background is 20 years as a commercial and investment banker with ABN Amro Bank and ING internationally. As a Managing Director he held senior management positions with global responsibility in both front line and support functions, gaining significant hands-on experience. Notwithstanding that this experience has proven invaluable in providing context to his coaching work, Enda's coaching approach is non-directional, thus facilitating the clients' own learning experience and ownership of their own performance.
Enda trained as an Executive Coach under Peter Bluckert in the UK and holds Postgraduate qualifications from Leeds Met in Executive Coaching and Coaching Psychology with a European Mentoring and Coaching Council accreditation (EMCC) level of "Advanced Practitioner". He is a graduate of the UCD Smurfit Business School in Ireland with a Master's Degree in Management Science and B.Comm. |
