Cécile Buckenmeyer
Cécile is responsible for international business development at PB Coaching. She works with international partner companies developing and delivering in-company workshops. Cécile has lived on three continents and is fluent in English, French and Japanese. She is interested in helping multi-cultural teams to work better together and believes that emotional intelligence is key to working effectively across cultures. Cécile has coached numerous high-potential executives through career change, personal transitions and professional development. In addition, she has led personal development, cross-cultural and teambuilding workshops in many countries, particularly in Europe and Asia. Cécile uses an integrative approach to her practice, taking into account emotions, work and life environments, personal and professional goals. She believes that a psychodynamic approach gives depth to her way of being as a coach. She also uses a wide range of tools and models that bring focus and effectiveness to her way of working. Prior to joining PB Coaching, Cécile worked as a recruitment consultant in Japan and the USA, and as head of European operations for an international recruitment consultancy based in London. Her clients included many FTSE100, European, Japanese and American multinational companies. More recently, she was a manager at Manchester Business School, developing coaching and career services for MBA students and alumni from all continents. Cécile has an MSc in the Psychodynamics of Human Development and has recently completed a PB Coaching Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching Psychology at Leeds Metropolitan University. Cécile is a member of the EMCC and is committed to ensuring that all work delivered by PB Coaching is culturally sensitive to the environments and clients we work with. |
