Profiles

Anna Heywood

Anna is a member of the PB Coaching Team and is responsible for the delivery of coach training courses and Executive Coaching. She has experience of Executive Coaching across a variety of organisations and levels of management.

Prior to joining PB Coaching, she worked as a Business Psychologist for OPP Ltd, where she specialised in Leadership and Team development, incorporating one-to-one coaching within this. She has worked with a wide range of leaders in both private and public sectors, including the NHS, which has increased her interest in what makes an effective leader and the importance of authenticity in leadership.

Her interests lie in growing and developing individuals to allow them to reach their true potential, through increased awareness of themselves, others and their relationships.  As a business psychologist, she is keen to bring both psychological and business mindedness to her coaching. Her experience of working with leaders has highlighted the importance of aligning an individual’s development to the needs of the organisation to ensure that coaching demonstrates return on investment. Whilst she uses a variety of theoretical models and techniques in her coaching, she firmly believes that the approaches she uses in her coaching are client centred.

She is qualified in the use of a range of psychometric instruments, including the MBTI, 16PF and 360 degree instruments and is experienced in training others in the theory and application of these instruments. She brings this experience to her leadership development work.

Anna is a chartered Occupational Psychologist. She gained her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Birmingham and obtained an MSc in Occupational Psychology at UMIST in Manchester.

She is committed to continuous professional development and the EMCC Code of Ethics.
